This special tour is dedicated to the veneration, worship and depiction of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ across different eras. On a tour of the cathedral, we will show you how the depiction of Christ on the cross differs in Romanesque and Gothic art, which feast was instituted in the 13th century for the special veneration of Christ and the significance of bread and wine in today's church services in Naumburg Cathedral.
