A two-volume scientific publication on the inventory of Naumburg Cathedral was published in 2018, just in time for the awarding of the World Heritage title. The expert guided tour by the cathedral archivist Dr. Matthias Ludwig, who worked on the creation of the inventory for over four years, provides insights into the research work and shows rooms and objects that are otherwise not accessible to visitors to the cathedral.
