Piano concert "New (T)Spaces

As part of the Intercultural Week 2023, the Naumburg Cathedral Choir invites you to a piano concert with Almuth Schulz in the Marienkirche at Naumburg Cathedral.

Almuth Schulz studied church music in Dresden and jazz piano at the Hochschule für Musik "Carl-Maria von Weber". Since then she has been working as a freelance pianist, composer and lecturer. In diverse projects and programs she collaborates with musicians, dancers, lyricists and theologians. As co-initiator and artistic director, Almuth Schulz has accompanied the summer night owl meditations in Dresden's Frauenkirche since 2002. She composes and arranges for her concerts, for drama, dance and audio book. In 2009, her solo CD "alles hat seine Zeit" was released to accompany the concert program of the same name. Her music sounds thematically appropriate in the context of literature, conferences or visual art. Together with the cellist Juliane Gilbert, Almuth Schulz also gives concerts under the name "PIANOCELLO".
